Needless to say I’m pretty stoked for the new Real Estate album Days due out on Domino on October 11. First we heard “Its Real”, and now we get “Green Aisles”, a more languid tune whose kaleidoscopic guitar riffs unfold beautifully over the song’s five minutes. With their trademark jangle sound and psychedelic inclinations, I like to think of Real Estate as a modern day Byrds. That Martin Courtney’s songwriting is one of the band’s stronger qualities only helps this comparison. Cheers to some of the Real-est dudes out there.
